Borthwood
Cottages, originally a milking parlour have been rebuilt to an
exceedingly high standard to form three cottages. Situated in a tranquil
rural location of outstanding natural beauty with views over the surrounding
countryside to Culver Cliff and within yards of Borthwood copse a National
Trust Wood. The Cottages are an ideal base for exploring the Island and
have been designed to provide a spacious ground floor accommodation for
disabled persons. The
Cottages are brick built with slate roofs, fully insulated and completely
double–glazed. The majority of rooms have a southerly aspect with
stunning views. They are designed to accommodate six persons in three
double rooms. There is full central heating and the cost of all service
duvets, bed linen and towels are included in the tariff. Visitors are
requested not to smoke in the cottages |

Downstairs. Fully fitted kitchen,
lounge/dining room, disabled shower room with sink and toilet, clockroom
with toilet and sink, double bedroom. Wide doorways for wheelchair access.
Upstairs. Two doubled bedrooms one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. Oak cottage has a balcony overlooking Culver Cliff from one of the upstairs bedrooms, and access to the patio from the ground floor bedroom. Rose Cottage has an upstairs cloakroom with toilet and sink. Outside. Each cottage has two parking spaces, a patio area with seating and a barbeque. Just across the back fence are our highland cattle. |
