We are going to reopen on the 4th July 2020 and in compliance with Government Advice and Guidance and Health and Safety Legislation we are now busy putting things in place to protect our staff and to make your stay as safe as possible. Clients should not travel to the cottages if they or anyone in their household has COVID-19 symptoms.
Generally we are asking holiday makers to observe the 1m minimum social distancing rule at all times from other cottage users. Please do not invite or entertain visitors. Do not arrive before the designated arrival time of 3.30pm so that we have time to carry out a deep clean of your cottage. Plus please leave by 10.00am so we can get started on the cleaning in good time. We also suggest you bring your own supplies of soap, hand gel, gloves and hand sanitisers to be on the safe side.
We have new procedures and rules in place including:
Arrival: We ask that you do not arrive before the check in time of 3.30pm and depart at 10.00am.
Closed facilities: Chalet containing Tumble drier. Arrangements will be made if requested.
Signs: Any areas where close contact may happen are clearly signposted. A social distancing of 1m minimum is to be observed in the communal areas of the car park and front outside seating areas. Please avoid touching the fences.
Cleaning: We are disinfecting between each booking. To enable this we have reduced the number of our cottages that are available to let at any one time and where possible we will keep a vacant period between each visit to carry out an enhanced cleaning regime as well as our normal vigorous cleaning programme.
Welcome pack: Will also include extra soap, disposable cleaning cloths, antibacterial household cleaner and refuse bags.
This guidance will be updated as the situation develops.

Frequently asked questions
Are you accepting new bookings?
We are not accepting any new bookings for travel on or before 3rd July 2020.
I am due to travel on or after 4th July 2020, what happens if government-imposed travel restrictions are extended?
If government-imposed travel restrictions are extended you must amend your holiday date. We are refunding all cottage payments made or alternatively we are offering you the option to change your dates to those still available in 2020 or into 2021. If there are no extended government-imposed travel restrictions and you wish to cancel our normal Terms and Conditions regarding cancellations will apply.
Have you put your prices up in order to profit from these circumstances?
No. The prices shown on my website will stay throughout 2020.
I am amending my date of travel, but the price has increased/decreased - why?
Accommodation prices have always and continue to be seasonal. Some of our customers who are looking to amend their travel dates may find they are quoted more if they are booking when prices are higher because of the time of year. Others may find that their holiday is cheaper if travelling out of season.
